The new standoffs are produced from Ergal 7075-T6 certified bar. Unlike the standoffs currently on the market, RC Project studied a particular geometry that increases the contact surface between bushing and standoff, which gives the standoff and its bushing a life RC Project says is 600% longer than the competition.
A hard coating and Teflon treatment reduce friction between the bushing and standoff, which lets RC Project guarantee 30 to 35 liters without replacing the standoff.
